Christmas 2010

Well it sure has been a long time since I last posted. Sorry for as my life is always going 90 to nothing but there is not much I can complain about. We had a wonderful Christmas with both sides of our family. This year we traveled to St. Petersburg to see Drews side of the family. It was a long but short trip. There was a total of 26 of us so we stayed super busy. We only see most of his family every other Christmas unless we have a big even such as a wedding or something like that so we always have to make the best out of our trip. Lynlee and her cousin Addison had a blast together and I mean a true blast. They are only 4 months apart so they got along great as they always to. Everything they did was "monkey see monkey do." it was so funny being around the two of them. Lynlee got some great stuff for Christmas.

Well now were all back to work and school and trying to get back to our regular schedules...which is very hard after being on vacay for a whole week.

LONG TIME

Yes once again I'm very sorry for it being so long since I last posted. We have been one busy family...and I mean busy. I feel like with work and family I never stop. Truly blessed with an active family to keep me going though and a full speed 2 year old that always has me going. She made this Turkey Hat at school and was so proud of it so I had to share.

I also took Lynlee to see Santa already...I know what alot of ya'll are thinking...already?!? Yes I did. I want to take her a few times to see him so she will get use to him and not be scared. She wouldn't sit on his lap by your self but she did sit on his lap with a friend of mines daughter Gracie.

She looks a little un-sure about it all but I'm determined to get her use to him before Christmas. I have a picture of her first Christmas with him but she wouldn't do it last Christmas so I don't want to miss this Christmas. Christmas will be here before we know it. I have started to shop so I don't have to do it all at once which I think will help my stress out a little bit. haha We are going to St. Pete for Christmas this year to be with Drew's family so we will be going, going, going all the time. I'm so excited to see his whole family though. Lynlee is now big enough to play with some of the cousins so that will be fun for her.

Well I'm getting all packed up were going to the camp tonight for the weekend which I'm SOOO looking forward to. All you can do there is relax and its always nice. Nothing to worry about but enjoying yourself. It will be cold but we should all have fun. After we get back were going to put up our Christmas Tree. I'm so excited to have our first Christmas in our new home this year. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.



Halloween

Well we had a GREAT Halloween with Lynlee this year!!! She dressed up as a Lady Bug and was so cute.

We too her to the Destin Commons Mall where they had alot of activities going on and all the kids went trick or treating from store to store. It was perfect for her. As we went from store to store she would hold her bag out and say, "Thank You." to everyone. My sister and her boyfriend came and met us up there which was nice. We ended our night with pizza at Red Brick Pizza and it was good.

Lynlee and Drew are golfing today while I work. :( Sad for me but fun for them. We are training at work right now so I had to help out today. Never mind helping but always hate losing that "time" with the family. Another positive note is that I got to talk to my little sis-AOII sister on Friday. She was a work teaching and took time out of her day. I always enjoy getting to talk with her since we don't see each other much.

Well now its time to starting walking every night so we can get in shape for Turkey Day!!! Yum I sure do love this. We always have turkey day on a different day every year depending on everyone schedules with my family and then we also have it with Drew's family too. His mom is such a good cook so I always enjoy Thanksgiving at her house. Lynlee and her cousin Addison are so close in age its ALWAYS fun when we get to see them which is every couple of months. We will be seeing them alot the next couple of months, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Addison's Birthday in Jan and then Ashley is due with her 2nd-which is a BOY the middle of Febuary! So we will be seeing them alot and I'm sooo excited!!!

Great Weekend

Well this past weekend was a very relaxing and much needed weekend. First off I took Lynlee to a festival with my sister Destinie. They had dancers performing and Lynlee LOVE every min of it. They had lots of fun rides and games so she had a blast. To top it all off Lynlee won a Dora doll.

She was more than excited to win this and Dora now goes everywhere we go and even sleeps in the car while were out doing things. She has made Dora a bed and she lets Dora use her pillow and blanket but ONLY when Lynlee is not using it. haha While we were there I found great little boutiques and got some cute bows and dresses for Lynlee. I know its Fall and about to be Winter but I just couldn't pass them up they were so cute. Plus I did pick ones out that you could put leggings with or a shirt under them. :)
Well on Sunday Drew was off work and WOW was that nice. He seems to always be working these days and its nice to see him for a whole day. I work alot too but I make sure to have my days off with my little one. We first ate brunch which was OH SO AMAZING and then we headed to the outlet mall to get some winter items. I was not so lucky and didnt get a thing but we did find Lynlee a really cute jacket and some other cute tops. Drew also got a few things but so glad to have a start on winter clothes. Down here in Destin winter is WEIRD and one day it will be freezing out of no where and then the next day it will be hot so you have to be preparred for it. After shopping we ended our morning with a visit to the park. Lynlee loves to be outside so this was so much fun for her. We even ran into one of her friends from school which is also a friend of mine from school as well. Lynlee and him are only a month a part so they are great friends. They had lots of fun and to say the least Lynlee was asleep before we left the parking lot. Well that was the FUN and relaxing weekend that was much needed. I hope everyone enjoys there week.

PaRtY pArTy PaRtY

Well Lynlee's Birthday Party was a huge success! We had so many family and friends come to join us and Lynlee had a great time. She got wonderful gifts that she can play and learn so much from. Her Grandparents (my mom & dad) bought her a Dora toddler bed that she went crazy about when she saw it. She is very much into Dora and she loves the idea of being a big girl so this gift was great. They also got her a Dora school desk that is so cute and perfect for her to play in.

Next her Grandpa David (Drew's Dad) & YaYa bought her a new bike to help teach her to ride. Drew put this together on Sunday and she had a blast and didnt ever want to go inside. They also bought her this new table that is WAY too cute. These little girls thought they were something else sitting here. Those are just the big things that she got from them...they showered her with lots of new clothes and toys. We wish so bad we got to see them more. Lynlee changes so much so fast and you miss so much if we dont slow down.

Well her next big present was from her Aunt Ninny (Destinie-my sister). Destinie spoils this child just as everyone else does. She bought her a electronic golf cart. It is so cute!

She had such a great birthday and we had so much fun planning it. I couldn't have done it without the help from my mom. She always is so good at staying calm and helping me get things done. My sister and sister-in-law also help alot with getting last min things together. I have more pictures posted on facebook if you want to see more. Lynlee's real birthday is on Thursday and they are moving her to a new classroom this week which I'm sad about (because I LOVE her teachers) but I'm also excited about because we get to start potty training. She is so ready and has been ready. I know I will love her new teachers as well, as everyone who works there is wonderful. This is all for now I will post again soon. Hope everyone has a GREAT week.

Almost 2!!!

Well it's almost the weekend and I have to say I'm very very excited!!! We have lots of family and friends coming this weekend for Lynlee's 2nd Birthday. We dont get to see some of them too much so it makes me happy when special events come up. I've been planning all week for her party and trying to get things together. I am taking tomorrow off so I can prepare and have all weekend to spend with the family. I want to try and have as much ready such as food and all that fun stuff preped before. I'm going to make my all time favorite bufflo chicken dip ahead of time. This is my sister-in-laws favorite so I knew I had to make it. We are also have mini little BBQ sandwhiches which I think will be so cute. Of course there are lots of other great items but I will save it and takes pictures.

I picked out Lynlee's cupcakes on Monday and had those ordered. I can't wait and am so excited about having cupcakes. We are going to put them in three cupcakes stands that are WAY cute. Her party decorations are mainly lime green and pink but has a little bit of blue and purple in it too. I thought about doing a charterer themed party but decided to wait until next year and let her pick that out. As you can tell I've had lots of fun planning this party and also do. I will post fun pictures after the weekend.

Another exciting event that is happening TODAY is that my sister-in-law is finding out what she is having today. YES she is prego and I'm so super exited. She finds out at 3:30 so I am counting down the time. I think she is having a girl but she has mixed feelings. She thought at first she was having a girl then a boy and now its back to a girl. So basically she has no idea. HAHA Well I will be sure to post about that also. I hope everyone has a GREAT weekend and I will be sure to post on Monday. :)

BUSY BUSY BUSY

Sorry it has taken me so long to write after our trip. I feel like one thing after another has been going on. Not necessarily bad things just things to keep my already busy life even more busy. Well first things first Lynlee had sooo much fun on our cruise. We all had a great time and can't wait to start planning for another family trip. Maybe in a few years Disney will be our next stop. Lynlee danced at every show, dinner, by the pool and basically every where that had music. This little girl loves to dance and sing.

It was great having the whole family on the Cruise too. They helped with Lynlee and it was nice just being able to relax with everyone. I've posted alot of pictures on facebook as I always too. Sometimes I wish I was a little better at taking pictures because I love them so much. Its hard to have a child and not try and capture all the memories they give.

After we got back from our vacation I was offered a promotion. My job is great and I enjoy what I do so much. I have learned more in the 2 1/2 years with this company than I have ever learned before. I've grown fast with this company and I couldn't thank my boss more for teaching me so much. The new position has required more time out of my "already busy life" so were all adjusting to that. Drew is being very supportive and helping me in any way that he can. His job requires him to work long hours as well and when that does happen we can't thank my parents and sister enough for helping us out. I think all the time what we would do with out family around. It so nice raising a family where you have alot of support.

Well next on the "Armacost Agenda" is Lynlee's Birthday!!! YAY She will be 2 years old September 23rd. I can't believe how fast time has flown by. Lynlee is about to move to the two year old classroom at school where she will learn more than she is learning now (which is alot). Lynlee can sing her ABC, count, sing every song. It's amazing to me how much a two year old knows. Our next task is to start potty training. I'm not too worried about this and dont think it will be too too hard because she is already telling us when she goes. She has the hang of it and knows what it all is so lets hope for the best.

Well that sorta sums up the past few weeks for the Armacost family. The title of this post is just perfect for our life the past few weeks...or should I say all the time. We stay very busy but it just means that something exciting is always happening at our house. :)

The Count Down Begins

So we are three days in counting till we leave for our cruise. This week is going by so slow too. Oh well it has been a VERY busy week so any faster I might lose my mind with all the things I have left to do. Drew has been out of town the last few days with Bobby Wyatt who is a jr. golfer that he teaches. This kids is amazing and just won the AGA State Boys Junior Championship by 6 shots. Drew enjoys this job so much and working with these kids is something he will remember forever. I have to congradulate both of them because I know Drew is just as excited for Bobby as he is excited for himself.

Well as I start to wash all the clothes so we can finish our packing tonight I do not look forward to doing this. I always wish someone would come and pack for me and then come back and unpack and do all the dirty laundry. haha Wouldn't that be the life.

I've got a few new pictures for everyone but the great pictures are still to come after our cruise. That is one thing I am so excited for is having someone take our pictures all the time. It is always hard with Lynlee to get a nice family pictures were were all facing the camera and smiling. I feel if Lynlee is smiling it's because I am looking at her trying to get her to smile. LOL It's always something that messes up a great picture.

Just another day...

As its just another day, it is closer to the weekend and I'm excited. Work has been busy but I have to say thats how I like it. I like that fact that we only have 15 more days till CRUISE too. YAY I'm more than excited for that and just can't hardly wait.

We took Lynlee golfing last week and she had so much fun. It was hotter than anything but that doesnt ever seem to bother her. She could stay outside with her daddy all day long.

Well this weekend we will be getting more things together for the cruise so last min SHOPPING here we come.

Summer

Ok so my last blog got hacked into so I'm starting another one. Sorry for the confusion but lets hope I can keep this one.

July is officially here and I'm so excited. I love summer and wish we had it year round. I do get tired of the heat but only when its in the high 90's. That is just WAY too hot. Something else exciting is that we only have 37 more days till we leave for our CRUISE!!! YAY I'm so excited for this and need a vacation so bad. Everyone always takes a vacation and comes to visit us in Destin but Drew and I never take one ourselves. I mean I can't blame us since we do live where the beaches are the most beautiful but still, everyone needs to get out of town once in awhile. The fact that its so close though and I'm starting to think and make list of what we need to get and what we need to pack is exciting. We will have to bring alot since Lynlee is still in diapers and is a picky eater plus all of her clothes and toys. Now that there is three of us in the family our packing is always intense. haha It's sooo FUN though and I enjoy every min of it. I think Destinie is more excited about Lynlee coming on the cruise than anyone else. All she talks about is how much fun she is going to have between all the fun shows, the pools and slides, goofy golf, singing and dancing on top of all the lights that are all throughout the boat. That will be a blog that will take an hour to read plus all the pictures! :) That's the fun part of being a mom.

Well I'm glad I've started my new blog. Keep checking back for new post and new pictures, I'm always taking pics because Lynlee grows soooo fast and changes everyday. :)
